MY End of Year and Advanced animation reviews plus think and create nightmare

END OF Year Presentation:


This was a bit of a mess for me. I was very tired having only had 5 hours of sleep the night before and having come down with a cold I was feeling super going into the presentation.

I did feel i delivered my presentation quite well as I cover most of the key points I wanted to.

I didn't cough too much. This was a big plus as i thought this would really distract me from my content and loose the crowd.

I went way over. I really do have a love for the comedy and characters of my project and i ent off on a big speech about them,. the crowd seemed to be interested as i babbled on but i did go over time which i wish i hadn't as i really really wanted more questions.


Advanced animation presentation

I was alot more clear going into this one i knew my talking point and i tried to focus on key points so i could keep to the time limit i set myself of about 22 min for my presentation leaving me ample time for a question.

Rachel made this plan a success by allowing me to go before lunch i took my time presenting and used lunch as an opportunity to get a social conversation going with my classmates which i could explain some of the theoretical concepts and technical tools i used.


THINK and Create what a nightmare

After finding out 3 hours prior to the event i wasn't being shown in the showcase was a bit hurtful as we though third-year work was prioritized in the showcase.
I tried to go in with a positive outlook even after being told the reason for this was to allow first-year work into the showcase.

 pre-event was a mess no one saw my animation as it got lost in the sea of other films on the screens in the exhibition.

The showcase was heartbreaking. Honestly some of the work that was on show was not at the same standard as the third year work and being kicked out for that kinda sucked.
