I Started My Model Of Kenny The Kea. I decided to leave this model till last as I felt it need the most attention as I am attempting to create a body shape and character design I have never tried before.
For reference and help, I have borrowed my classmate Megan's book on animal anatomy. to get a better idea of the skeletal structure and features of the Kea.
Over The Holiday I was unable to do any modelling, as I was out of the country. So I used this time to research more into how I would go about modelling, texturing and animating Kenny.
For the base Model I have as my 2D animatic show I am going with a more anthropomorphism character model for Kenny as I want him to have gesturing movement in his arms.
Texturing is going to be an issue as I am not sure how I will achieve a feathered look more research will need to be done into this.
the animation is something i am looking forward to i have decided to give Kenny 3 fingers in his feathers to be able to give Kenny a wider range of movement and expression. So started to day with some basic feather designs.
